Canon are introducing two new RF lenses today - the the RF 50mm F1.
8 STM and RF 70-200mm F4L IS USM.
The RF 70-200mm F4L IS USM is the world’s shortest and lightest f/4 interchangeable lens in its focal range. It weighs just 695 grams and measures 11. 9cm long. It has a Dual Nano USM focusing motor, just like the F2. 8 version, up to 7. 5-stops of image stabilisation when used with the EOS R5 and EOS R6, 3 different IS modes and is fully weatherproof.
The RF 50mm F1. 8 STM is the newest ‘nifty fifty’ lens, succeeding Canon’s EF 50mm f/1. 8 STM. The RF 50mm offers better image quality than the EF version, and is quieter too. It features 7 stops of image stabilisation when used on the EOS R5/6 cameras, a metal mount and a de-clicked control ring.
