Leonardo DiCaprio's Astounding Nat Geo Documentary is Free to Stream on YouTube

Before the Flood, a documentary three years in the making, has been made publicly and freely available by National Geographic on YouTube. Narrated and produced by Leonardo DiCaprio, the documentary chronicles the history of climate change on Earth and warns of the dangers to come if humans to not take drastic action to correct it.

This is an issue that DiCaprio has been vocal about for a number of years, and he has now spent the past three years working with Fisher Stevens (director of The Cove) to bring the Nat Geo documentary to life. The movie follows the Oscar-winning actor around the world, as he speaks with political figures, scientists, and people directly affected by the phenomenon of global warming. Barack Obama, Pope Francis, John Kerry and Elon Musk all feature throughout the 2-hour runtime, and the reception thus far has been excellent.

Featuring some spellbinding photography and cinematography (as you might expect from National Geographic), the documentary is a wonderful piece of cinema, and highly educational to boot. Recommended.
