8 is a compact and lightweight prime lens for full-frame and APS-C format L-mount cameras. We've had a pre-production sample for a few days, and we're pleased to report that it's delightfully sharp, zippy and silent when it comes to autofocus, and it delivers lovely bokeh, too.

We paired it with the high-resolution Panasonic S1R to see just how capable it is. Take a look.
