In hall nine, which encompasses Photokina 2016's 'Futurezone,' there are dozens of 360 and VR capture devices on display for attendees to ogle. There's also plenty of people wearing VR headsets and appearing vaguely zombified to ogle, as well.

So whether you think VR and 360 capture represent a future that's dazzlingly bright or frighteningly dim, companies all over the world are jumping in with their own capture solutions. Heck, even Nikon's joining the VR race.
