Mike Olbinski has captured some pretty amazing footage over the past year; you may remember this video that we posted back in October and this one from July. Needless to say, he had a busy 2016.

For his latest project, he decided to do something a bit different by presenting the entire 4K time-lapse film in black and white.

This type of treatment definitely comes with its own set of challenges, but we think it showcases the drama and unpredictability of thunderstorms in a refreshing way. Make sure to enjoy this one in HD with volume turned up and the lights turned down.
