Lensrentals tests the 70-200mm GM and says that it “isn’t that great”

I don’t know if the folks over at Lensrentals got a bad copy but the 70-200mm GM lens they tested had not the expected top-notch quality: The Sony just isn’t that great, and that’s really disappointing considering the price tag and how long customers have had to wait for that lens to be available.

Imaging Resource posted the first part of their A99II review. Of course they like the camera a lot, particularly the image quality. The only real downside is that: Overall, the biggest issue with the A99 II’s performance is its buffer clearing performance.
