Sony released the full Q3 financial report. The company as a whole is doing well, but for the first time in a long time Sony reported a slight decline in sales of photo and video cameras. Sony writes that there has been a ‘deterioration in the product mix of digital cameras’.

The Sony FX9 has been marked as discontinued by BHphoto (click here). There were rumors about a possible FX6/FX9 successor, but it’s gone quiet, and as far as I’ve heard, Sony has postponed the launch of the successor.

Zeiss just published the first teaser video where you can see bits of a new lens that will be announced on February 25. What we learn from this teaser: It’s E-mount It clearly shows a lens mounted on a Sony camera (I think it’s this camera).
