Sony issued a new firmware 1. 01 for the Sony A6500 for Windows and Mac. The improvements are Improves a condition where the camera will not power-on after making certain setting changes Improves overall stability of the camera A6500 store links: UPDATE: Also the RX100V got a firmware update: with the same A6500 improvements.
