The woman in the photo above is an agency model: and years ago on a Tamron press outing did a great job working with a number of journalists. But it brings up something that is very important in the industry, photographers need to understand that just because someone is good looking, that doesn't mean that they'll be a great model.
In fact, this advice is moreso targeted to novice photographers. While it may be nice to ask someone to pose for you that you met on Instagram, that isn't at all guaranteed to be a great encounter. Much of this can be shown from the images that are posted in a portfolio. . thephoblographer.com
