A lot of us were quite excited to see an aperture ring on the recently announced Canon RF 35mm f/1. 4L VCM. This aperture ring also appears on the RF 24-105mm f/2. 8L IS USM Z. Unfortunately, it appeared that the aperture would remain a video only feature.

Samyang (also branded as Rokinon and Bower in other markets), has released its new AF 75mm F1. 8 FE lens for full-frame Sony camera systems. Aside from the rather unusual focal length (I think we can all appreciate the decision not to add yet another 85mm FE lens to the market), the lens has another interesting feature. dpreview.com »

We're told that the next Canon EOS R5 Mark II firmware update will come with new features along with the usual bug fixes. The new firmware is already in testing with various pros and will add new video and photography features updates.

Yesterday, Canon released firmware v.1.0.1 for the Canon EOS R5 Mark II, which brough a whole bunch of bug fixes for the camera. There are still some reported bugs out there that haven't been addressed, but we don't like to dive too much into those in case they are more user error than actual issues [...] Source
Today seems to be firmware release day for the entire EOS R lineup. A lot of the updates are bug fixes and a few cameras received support for the LP-E6P. You can download firmware updates through the Camera Connect app or directly from a Canon web site.
Canon has released firmware v1. 0. 1, which addresses some of the bugs that currently present in the camera. Though not all of the bugs we have read about are addressed with this release. At the time of this post, the firmware update is available at Canon India.
