The Fujifilm 50mm f1 R WR is my favorite lens — but it may have just been dethroned. The Fujifilm 56mm f1. 2 R WR is a new portrait prime designed to keep up with Fujifilm’s new higher-resolution sensors.
Fujifilm has a good selection of portrait, landscape, and street lenses. But, on the telephoto end, the X Mount has fewer options, with Fujifilm’s topping out at a 100-400mm lens. But, that was before the launch of the Fujifilm 150-600mm f5.
With the X-H1 announced more than four years ago, Fujifilm’s H series cameras kind of fell out of their flagship status. Eclipsed by prettier and also stabilized bodies like the X-T4, more tech just got into the newer cameras that Fuji couldn't cram into the X-H1.
There are a ton of great Fujifilm cameras on the market, and if you just got your hands on any one of them over the holiday period, you will no doubt love using it. As with any camera system, though, the lenses you use will play a more significant role in how good your images will be, and thankfully there are dozens of excellent X mount lenses available for you to use.
When it comes to creating lenses, there are few better at it than Fujifilm. Thanks to Fujifilm's hard work, they created a fantastic line of APS-C Mirrorless cameras, and they've also made some incredible lenses.
