A few years ago I started to photograph abondoned buildings. It's really amazing what you will find. In these years I've captured a lot of beautiful places in Italy, Belgium, The Netherlands, France, Germany, Spain, Luxembourg and Switzerland.
Somewhere hidden in the French countryside lies a spa where time stood still for some decades. The last guests checked out in the mid-eighties of the last century. Decay is slowly taking over this once luxurious place.

Hidden in France lies another beautiful mansion. Build in the 17th century and inhabited by wealthy and important people. There were a lot of important documents inside and even holiday greetings from the ambassador of the United States of America.
I found this beautiful and somewhat creepy place hidden in a forest. Somebody once lived here and used the environment as a scrap heap. Now this place has long been abandoned and this is what's left behind.

A few weeks ago I visited this amazing Asylum in Italy. The asylum was designed in 1789 and the work was completed in the early 1800s. The King of Sardinia opened the church building for the Sons of the Militaries in 1834.
