While you can read the full details in our initial coverage, here's the basic specifications for the four cameras on the back of the X70 Pro+: a 50MP wide module, an 8MP periscope telephoto module (125mm full-frame equiv. ), a 12MP telephoto module (50mm full-frame equiv. ) and a 48MP ultrawide module (14mm full-frame equiv. ). As with its X60 Pro lineup, the X70 Pro lineup was created in partnership with Zeiss, whose T* coating is used on each of the four camera modules and whose color technology is used when processing the images.
This gallery consists of a mixture of shots from each of the four camera modules, as well as various shooting modes, including Portrait, Macro, High Resolution, Supermoon, Night Mode and more. We’ve attempted to capture a mixture of low contrast and high contrast scenes in both artificial and natural lighting and while not entirely comprehensive (the vivo X70 Pro+ has more than 12 shooting modes, many of which have their own variations and can sometimes be used with each of the four cameras), we’ve attempted to showcase images that highlight both its strengths and weaknesses.
For the Raw images (captured as DNG files), you’ll see two nearly identical Raw versions right after the other in the gallery. One of these will be the standard ‘Raw’ mode, which captures a single image in the DNG format, while the other will be a ‘Super Raw,’ which is vivo proprietary stacked Raw format, akin to the ‘HDR+’ Raw capture in Pixel devices and ‘ProRaw’ in Apple’s iPhone 12 and 13 lineups. We’ve labelled the two different files accordingly in the images’ descriptions.
