"It is a crazy good camera in a tiny package," professes Australian professional photographer Adam Pretty, about Panasonic's Lumix S5 digital camera. He was approached by the company to produce a set of promotional images for this camera, and Adam decided to go with skateboarding as the choice of sport to photograph with it.
"In the end, we are all just human beings, and that’s often forgotten with athletes. That is also the case as a photographer," says Dutch photographer Yannick Schurwanz. He was a former competitive athlete when an injury forced him to the sidelines for a few weeks.

Sony, as usual, made huge waves when they first introduced the a9 in 2017. They entered the sports market that had been dominated by both Canon and Nikon for decades, and they staked their claim as a serious player in this field.
