I Created A Surreal Photography Series During Social Isolation

My name is Patty Maher, and I am a conceptual photographer from Ontario, Canada. I use photoshop to create surreal conceptual photography. This year, during lockdown due to COVID-19, I spent my spare time creating this series of self-portraits called "The Alchemy of Being.

I Recreated A Famous Classical Painting In A Photograph

Always inspired by this intricate classical painting The Swing, by Jean-Honore Fragonard - as a stylist and set designer- I only dreamed to recreate it one day. However, I thought that day would be so far in the future, because, as a freelance artist - I simply didn't have the capitol to produce such an extravagant shoot (as I had imagined it) and likely wouldn't in the near future.
