In addition to their new 70-200mm F/2.8 G2 lens Tamron also announced a brand new 10-24mm F/3.5-4.5, an ultrawide lens designed specifically for crop sensor cameras. It has a ton of major improvements over the old version of this lens, and it looks to be a great addition to the Tamron lineup.
In addition to the new 100mm F/2.8 G Master lens that Sony announced at WPPI 2017, they also brought out their new 85mm F/1.8. This should be particularly exciting for money strapped Sony shooters who are looking for an affordable option in the 85mm range.
Tamron has announced their newly updated 70-200mm F2.8 Di VC USD G2, a lens that offers what look to be several significant improvements over the old Tamron 70-200mm F/2.8 model. We have been here at WPPI 2017 and we had a chance to play with the new lens a little bit on the show floor so we are here today with some quick initial impressions.
Today at WPPI 2017, we're getting a new Sony 100mm f2.8 GM OSS lens, Sony FE 85mm f1.8 lens, and a new radio flash. Exciting news for sure!
