And a few folks may even argue that traditional cameras are dead because what phones do these days are just so good. Camera manufacturers haven't done enough to educate and reach out to people about what their cameras do. But the truth today is that DSLRs are dinosaurs. Nikon is releasing the D6 sooner or later though, and I'm not sure why. I'm positive that Canon will follow suit and release a new 1D camera.
