It's a bit of a shame the K-70 didn't arrive in the middle of winter. The weather-resistant design would have made it the perfect companion for braving the inevitable Northwest rain, and the famed in body "Shake Reduction" would have helped in overcast light conditions, as well.
Nevertheless, when it arrived we took the refined 24MP DSLR out in the hot summer sun for a bit of a sample shakedown.
