I got the impression the new Loxia 85mm lens didn’t get a love here on the SAR community. And I guess the main issue is the high price ($1,399 at BHphoto and Adorama). That said the lens promises to deliver a stellar performance.

One of our sources confirmed Zeiss will launch new Sony FE lens(es) next week! He didnt’ share the specs yet and we don’t know if it’s a Batis or Loxia or both they will announce! But we know one of the lenses Zeiss wanted to launch this year is a Loxia tele lens. sonyalpharumors.com »

Kolarivision took a look inside the Sony A7cR and this is their conclusion: According to our lead camera technician, the Sony A7CR can be rated as a 3/10 in terms of difficulty, with one being the least difficult and ten being the most.
At the NABshow Viltrox displayed the 135mm f/1. 8 FE autofocus lens. They still did not disclose the exact release date and pricing of the lens. But here you can see the lens mounted on the Sony A7cR.

The Sony A1 still holds up well against the Nikon Z9 even if it’s an older camera. Now we can all wonder what the upcoming Sony A1II will be able to do ;)
