CP+2025 CIPA reveals camera and lens shipment forecast for 2025

The CIPA has published its forecast for camera sales up to 2025. Basically, a minimal increase of 1% is forecast for cameras and 2. 4% for lenses. Interestingly, they see an increase in demand for fixed lens cameras (+2%).

The Japanese shop Mapcamera published its ranking of the 10 best-selling cameras in March. I noticed Sony loosing a bit of ground the past months. We really need some new cameras like the Sony A7V, A7sIV and RX1rIII.
