Sigma continues to push forward with the release of new lenses, and today I have some exclusive, exciting news to share with you! On June 17, at the BildExpo event (register here) Sigma will announce new lenses: Sigma 17-40mm f/1.
On 23 May, Sony officially registered a new code for a camera that has not yet been released (see image above). In total, we now have three official camera codes in China. One of these is for the newly announced Sony FX2 (we still need to find out which one).
UPDATE: I can now confirm that Sony will be announcing a new E-mount camera on 28 May (not May 21 as previously reported). Like I told you before, it will not be a new Sony A7IV successor that is coming.

First a correction: The next Sigma lens will be a 200mm f/2. 0 and not f/1. 8 as previously rumored. Now two trusted sources have confirmed that we will get a 200mm f/2. 0 SPORT FE and L-mount lens before the summer.
A new Sony camera registration was spotted in China yesterday. We now have a total of two Sony cameras to be announced within a few months: WW934774 (registered April 21) manufactured in China. This is highly likely to be a new FX or Cine camera.
