Richard and I decided to do one of those “Best of 2023” lists for Canon's new gear that was announced in 2023. As most of you know, Canon had a pretty busy year product-wise, while they didn't make every segment of our community happy, they did release a lot of great products.
November was a busy month for Canon, as they announced 3 new lenses following October's announcement of the RF 10-20mm f/4L IS STM. Below are the expected ship dates of the new Canon lenses according to B&H Photo.
The Canon RF-S 10-18 f/4. 5-6. 3 IS STM has arrived and issued in the era finally where we can look at the RF-S system as a “system” and not just APS-C Camera bodies with a couple of kit lenses.
You can now preorder all of the new Canon gear. The RF-S 10-18mm f/4. 5-6. 3 IS STM, RF 24-105mm f/2. 8L IS USM Z and RF 200-800mm f/6. 3-9 IS USM will begin shipping in December 2023. The PowerZoom adapters will begin shipping around March 2024.
