The Japanese shop Mapcamera published its ranking of the 10 best-selling cameras in March. I noticed Sony loosing a bit of ground the past months. We really need some new cameras like the Sony A7V, A7sIV and RX1rIII.

Trump has exempted some electronic devices from the new tariffs. But as far as I understand, this does NOT include cameras and lenses. If this is the case, you will soon see price increases for new cameras, lenses and accessories.

This is rather unusual, but the pre-order option for the Sony 400-800mm has been removed from BHphoto and Adorama says it won’t ship until June. I’m really not sure if this has to do with the current rate situation or if there is a sudden unexpected demand for this lens.
