COOPH have been delighting us with simple photography tricks for a while and this new DIY hack is no different. Using a variety of household materials and some rather impressive Sugru rubber glue, the team outline a number of possibilities to help raise your photography game to the next level.
With a bit of imagination the video attempts to motivate people into trying out forced perspective photos, reversing the lens for detailed macro shots, and gluing magnets to a GoPro mount so it can grip cars and other metallic objects. Already know those tricks? How about crumpling up some tinfoil for a bokehlicious product background shot, or turning a shower curtain into a lighting softbox, No? Perhaps, drilling a hole into a lens body cap for pinhole photography then.
COOPH also suggests taking an empty fish tank out to the sea and using it to snap some below the surface DSLR shots, creating a ring of fire using sparklers and a wire frame, and setting up a speedlight to capture high-speed photographs.
Regardless of it you are familiar with these tricks, COOPH continue to remind us how a little bit of creativity can go a long way in making an awesome photograph.
