Sony have announced 150 and 100 megapixel back-illuminated medium format sensors that can also record 4K video. Both sensors, named IMX211 and IMX411, will offer a high dynamic range function and 14 bit rich graduation expression.
Additionally, the 150 megapixel IMX411 sensor will be capable of recording 8K video at 16fps. Expect to see these sensors appear in the next generation Hasselblad and Fujifilm medium-format digital cameras. . .
