New Sony A7V info: no 6/7k recording

I’ve received confirmation that the Sony A7V does not record video in 6K or 7K, and as I mentioned before, there’s no Open Gate mode. So we’re getting 4K60p uncropped, and 4K120p with a crop. – Sony A7V at BHphoto, Amazon, Adorama, Fotokoch, Foto Erhardt, Calumet, WexUK.

Rumor correction: Sony A7V has one SD and one hybrid SD/CF slot

A source (Thanks!) sent me a correction on the Sony A7V specs: There are two card slots, but only one is Cfe A/SD, other is just SD He also confirmed the camera has the same Sony A7RV body (same free angle LCD screen), dual USB-C port and one full size Hdmi.

Confirmed: Sony A7V price is 2999€

The Sony A7V price for the European market will be 2999€. Don’t have the price in Dollar yet…. but I guess it will be $2899 or $2999. Usually the price in Dollars is very similar. The Sony FX2 for example is priced at 2899€ here and $2999 at BHphoto.
