There's some good news folks, the Magnum Square Print Sale is back on for a limited amount of time. This sale happened not too long ago for a few days and Magnum has decided to do it again. Photographers from all across the Magnum Archives are being featured; but primarily the year 1968 is being showcased.
The Mamiya 6 is a camera that I've lusted after for many years; and when the opportunity to get one with two lenses for an absolutely unheard of price, I knew that I needed to spring for it. As one of the few great compact interchangeable lens rangefinders that use medium format film, the Mamiya 6 is in my mind one of the most perfect square format cameras ever made.
It was only a matter of time until the Fujifilm Instax SP-3 Instax square printer launched; and it honestly couldn't have come any sooner. I wasn't a major fan of the Instax SQ-10, but the Fujifilm Instax SP-3 fully embraces wireless connectivity and digital photography and printing.
In the past few years, I've learned to trust in Lomography's ability to churn out solid instant film cameras, and the Lomography Lomo'Instant Square seems to be every bit as solid as lots of cameras that I've seen thus far.
