This morning Nikon officially released the full version of its free Webcam Utility Software for Windows 10 and macOS, enabling compatible Nikon mirrorless and DSLR cameras to be used as webcams when connected to a computer via USB.
Following in the footsteps of Canon, Fuji, Panasonic, and others, Nikon has officially released a free Webcam Utility that allows you to use the latest Nikon mirrorless cameras and DSLRs as a webcam for video conferencing and live-streaming, without the need for a capture card.
Canon was rightly praised when it unveiled its EOS Webcam Utility last month, allowing users to turn many of the company’s most popular DSLRs and mirrorless cameras into webcams without using a capture card.
