Being one of the oldest living city of the world, Varanasi has always been a magical and mystical place to me. When I got the chance to travel to India this year, Varanasi was my first priority. I traveled there in January on a 7 day solo trip.

“Where should we go?” Melissa, my girlfriend, was trying to narrow down what seemed like a mountain of possibilities-places that were worthy of exploration. After a month of repeating that same question a million times, we finally settled on India.
Jerusalem is a city of three religions, The Wailing Wall is a sacred place for all Jewish people. A pilgrimage to Mecca is the obligation of every Muslim. The Church of the Holy Sepulchre is visited by Christians, while Hindus have Varanasi- known as Benares.
