I’m seeing lots of cherry blossoms photos from lots of my friends that are visiting Japan or Korea for the beautiful cherry blossoms. I’m sitting here at home in the Netherlands for a change and figured I’d show them I don’t need to travel halfway across the globe to get these shots.
It does not snow in Amsterdam very often, but when it does, it is enchanting. The city turns into a Grimm fairy tale: you look up in the white sky and expect to see Frau Holle shaking a pillow, covering streets and canals with bright snow crystals.
