Lomography has announced it's opened pre-orders for the Petzval 55mm F1. 7 MKII, its first lens designed specifically for full-frame mirrorless cameras. According to Lomography, the lens 'is created with discerning photographers and filmmakers in mind' and 'designed to allow full creative flexibility, with its 7 levels of Bokeh Control and Dual Aperture system. dpreview.com »
Most of Lomography's art lenses have been a hit, but in the case of the Lomography 32mm f2. 8 Minitar, I'm not totally sure I know what the think. There's a fair amount going for it in terms of it being super small and easily mountable to a Leica M camera body, but then there's a lot of weirdness with the image quality. thephoblographer.com »
Lomography has launched the Lomo’Instant Automat camera on Kickstarter, where it has already exceeded its $100k funding goal with 34 days remaining in the campaign. The Lomo’Instant Automat is, according to Lomography, an instant camera with two modes: an Automatic Mode that automatically adjusts shutter speed, aperture, and flash output, and Bulb Mode for long exposure shots up to 30 seconds in length. dpreview.com »
