Following Botched Rollout, Fujifilm Postpones X-T2, X-H1 and X-Pro2 Updates

According to the latest Fujifilm news alert; the fixed X-T2 firmware along with the postponed X-H1 firmware update will be coming out in mid-June. There have been no changes made to what Fujifilm has promised in these updates in terms of features, they just have some more bugs that they need to work out and resolve before they are ready for the wild (presumably). thephoblographer.com »

I Spent An Entire Night In The Airport Photographing People

I made this photographic series called "Night at the airport" because every time I have a layover at the airports during the night, or the day sometimes, I see people sleeping, reading, playing games on their telephones and I'm wondering where they're going to and where do they come from; if it's a business trip, they are going to see their families, or just travelling the world. boredpanda.com »

Three Photographer Moms Tell Us What They Want for Mother’s Day 2018

I'm of the personal and strong belief that whomever the mother figure in your life is, you should find a way to always be thankful and appreciative of what they've done for you. We shouldn't necessarily dedicate a single day to our moms, but if we didn't then the economy and the retail industry wouldn't be able to find a way to give us all access to some killer deals and sales. thephoblographer.com »

Composite timelapse combines Death Valley's night sky with New York City's streets

In honor of International Dark Sky Week 2018—which will run from April 15th to the 21st—timelapse filmmakers Gavin Heffernan and Harun Mehmedinovic decided to create an interesting composite. Using their ample post-processing skills and footage they'd captured across the country, they replaced the light-polluted skies over New York City with long-exposure footage captured in pristine locations like Death Valley and Grand Canyon National Parks. dpreview.com »

Mindshift Gear’s New Exposure Bags Are Squarely Targeted Towards Outdoor Photographers

Wildlife Photographers, Landscape Photographers; Outdoor Photographers in general. They all have pretty demanding needs from the bags that they choose to carry their gear in. Unlike other niches of photography where spending time indoors can be a large part of the job, for these outdoor photographers being out in the elements and bearing the brunt of Mother Nature’s rage is just another day in the office. thephoblographer.com »

I Photographed Daily Life Of My Grandparents To Show Their Positive Attitude To Life

Grandparents. To me, Grandparents are special people but the models in my Collection are extra special because they are My Grandparents! They would say that they are just "ordinary" people but compared to the lives of my generation, theirs have been "extraordinary"! At 87 years of age, my Grandfather is physically strong, mentally alert and inquisitive and enjoys the challenge of modern day technology. boredpanda.com »

Review: Holdfast Gear Camera Leash 2 (Wrist Strap)

If you were to look at the Holdfast Gear Camera Leash 2, you wouldn't necessarily notice the upgrades, but when you take a closer look you'll see that they're quite apparent. One of the company's first products was the Camera Leash: a wrist strap with a bit of flair, sturdiness and a major deviation away from many of the other strap manufacturers out there years ago when they were introduced. thephoblographer.com »

I Tested 10+ Photoshop Alternatives to See How They Stack Up

To Adobe or not to Adobe. That is the question many photographers are asking with the spate of new image processing programs vying to “kill Photoshop.” I tested more than ten contenders as alternatives to Adobe’s image processing software, evaluating them for the specialized task of editing demanding nightscape images taken under the Milky Way, […] petapixel.com »
