Both the Sony A7rII and A7II will ship in 1-2 months only according to Amazon US. Also other US stores don’t have them in Stock (or in very limited supply). This camera was announced in 2021 and the only “improvement” over the A7rIII was the addition of a new, higher-resolution LCD screen (2. 36 million dots). And now it has been officially discontinued according to BHphoto.
I never saw them before…but a company named Jintu is selling a bunch of super cheap and manual focusing E-mount lenses on this Amazon Page (click here). The list includes this super weird 420-800mm f/8.
There is near zero percent chance that Sony will announce a new Alpha camera or lens. But don’t worry, I am sure something exciting will be announced within 1-2 months. Probably a new camera (A7v?) and certainly at least one new lens! More about that on SAR soon…stay tuned!
