The APS-C DSLR has been a gateway camera for many photographers, and some higher spec'd APS-C DSLR models are still used by professionals, and hobbyists alike due to their rugged bodies, and good overall performance, but with Canon choosing to kill of their sports and action centered EOS 7D models one has to wonder if APS-C DSLR models are coming to the end of the road. thephoblographer.com »

A recent report has suggested that Canon may be making a new APS-C DSLR that will combine two of their popular APS-C based cameras into one new shiny body. It doesn’t appear that 2018 is going to bring us any interesting new DSLRs, we’re still being told that there won’t be another DSLR of significance released in 2018 (An announcement is always possible). canonrumors.com »
