The new Canon RF 24-105mm F4-7. 1 IS STM is a lightweight, compact and versatile zoom lens that's the perfect partner for the EOS RP mirrorless camera.
This versatile and affordable zoom boasts 5-stops of Image Stabilization, an STM motor that's well-suited to both stills and video, and is smaller and lighter than the EF version.
It also features a brand new 0. 5x “Centre focus macro” mode, which offers 13cm macro mode when using Manual Focus at the 24mm focal length. Only the centre-point is in perfect focus and there will be some vignetting, but this new mode opens up the world of macro shooting.

In the US, the Canon EOS RF 24-105mm F4-7. 1 IS STM lens has an estimated retail price of $399. 99 for the lens only. It will also be sold as a body-and-lens kit with the EOS R and RP cameras.
Canon have also announced the development of the new RF 100-500mm F4. 5-7. 1 L IS USM super-zoom lens, and also the Extender RF 1. 4x and Extender RF 2x.
Canon has also confirmed that it will release five more RF lenses this year (as yet unspecified), bringing the total to nine new RF lenses in 2020.
