It was only a matter of time until Fujifilm announced some sort of film discontinuation, and in this case it's going to be Fujifilm Superia 1600 and 800--but we'd like to make it very, very clear that this is only for their 36 exposure rolls.
There are bound to be a whole lot of folks out there saying "Oh, they discontinued another film. " But that's clearly not true. Both film stocks will be available in 24 exposure rolls in the 35mm format. Fujifilm Superia in the lower ISO emulsions is not being touched, thankfully. And though some folks may think that this is all just fine, it still isn't necessarily the best thing to happen. . thephoblographer.com
