A Dutch retailer appears to have accidentally leaked the specs of an upcoming drone from DJI called the Mini 3 Pro. According to the product page, which was posted to TopRC and first spotted by a Dronewatch NL reader, the DJI Mini 3 Pro will feature a 1/1.
3" CMOS sensor with 4K/60p HDR video capture and 48-megapixel Raw photo capture. Other shooting features include a vertical mode that rotates the camera 90-degrees to capture TikTok and Instagram Reels-ready video, 120fps capture at 1080p and the ability to shoot a flat color profile for more editing flexibility in post-production.
As the initial leaked images suggested the Mini 3 Pro will feature an obstacle avoidance system, a first for any of DJI’s sub-250g drones. The leaked product page says this will work via forward-, backward- and downward-facing sensors, which enable ActiveTrack 4. 0, Spotlight 2. 0 and Point of Interest 3. 0. MasterShots will also be making its way to the Mini 3 Pro.

As for battery life, the leaked product page suggests the standard battery will last up to 34 minutes, a slight improvement over the Mini 2. However, a larger ‘Flight Battery Plus’ is mentioned, with specs suggesting this presumably-larger battery, which will likely push the drone over the 250g regulatory limits various regions have, can boost the flight time to up to 47 minutes.
The leaked product page shows the Mavic 3 Pro shipping with a DJI RC1 N1 controller, which uses the O3 data transfer protocol, which should give the Mini 3 Pro drone a fairly substantial working range.
The product page has since been taken down and no other information has been provided on when we can expect an official launch. Rumors have suggested we’ll see it launched later this month, but more recent reports suggest the release date has been pushed back to May.
