In an interview with Japanese television station NHK World, Nikon have revealed that they will be releasing a new mirrorless camera system by Spring 2019.
No further details have yet been released about the exact specifications, including what kind of mount the new Nikon compact system camera will use. We'd expect to see an early prototype being displayed at this year's Photokina show in September ahead of the Spring 2019 release date.
