Sirui has announced the details for its new 75mm F1. 8 1. 33x telephoto anamorphic lens for APS-C camera systems. The new lens, which is available to back on Indiegogo, is the fourth in the company’s growing lineup, which already includes the 24mm F2.
8, 35mm F1. 8 and 50mm F1. 8.
As with the other 1. 33x anamorphic lenses in its lineup, the 75mm F1. 8 will feature the signature oval bokeh and streaked blue lens flares anamorphic lenses are known for. The lens is constructed of 16 elements in 12 groups, has an aperture range of F1. 8 through F16, uses a 13-blade aperture diaphragm and has a minimum focusing distance of 1. 2m (47. 24”). It measures roughly 13cm (5. 12”) long, 7. 1cm (2. 8”) in diameter and weighs between 795g (1. 75lbs) and 825g (1. 82lbs) depending on the mount you go with.
As for the mounts, the lens will be available for Canon EF-M, Fujifilm X, Micro Four Thirds (MFT), Nikon Z and Sony E mount camera systems. Sirui says the lens’ housing is made from aluminum and CNC machined parts, while the optics are constrcuted of Schott glass with ‘multi-layer nano coating. ’ The focus and aperture rings are knurled for extra grip and the 67mm front filter thread ensures accessories and filters work across Sirui’s entire 1. 33x anamorphic lens lineup.

The Sirui 75mm F1. 8 1. 33x telephoto anamorphic lens is currently listed on Indiegogo, where 500 ‘Super Early Bird’ pledges are still available for $669. Sirui says the lens will retail for $899. Other pledges, which include additional lenses and accessories are available at a discount as well, if you’re interested in getting Sirui’s other 1. 33x anamorphic lenses.
The first units are expected to ship in June 2021, suggesting Sirui has at least a large portion of the lenses in hand and ready to ship at the end of the crowdfunding campaign, which has 30 days left. While there’s always some level of risk with crowdfunding campaigns, Sirui has used Indiegogo for its past anamorphic lenses and has delivered them to backers with minimal issues.
