Scandinavianphoto. se marked the Sony RX1R II as “discontinued”. I don’t know yet if that’s a local Scandinavian status or if Sony globally discontinued the camera. Some see the Zeiss ZX1 as real successor of the RX1 line.

The Sony A5000 has been officially marked as “discontinued” at BHphoto (Click here to see). You can still find the camera in Stock via third party sellers at Amazon. The Sony A5100 got marked as discontinued at Digitalrev (Click here). The A5100 is certainly long due for replacement. But I suspect the Kumamoto earthquake did mess up with Sony’s replacement plan. sonyalpharumors.com »
