Chinese manufacturer Kipon has designed a multipurpose adapter geared at helping photographers consolidate their kit without compromising on utility. The Kipon EF-S/E AF ND lens adapter mounts Canon EF lenses to Sony E-Mount cameras and also makes its lens AF functionality compliant with Sony.
However, one of the niftiest inclusions is the integrated ND filter which allows you to add up to 7 stops of exposure control.
Similar to a pair of optician glasses, the filters can be slotted into the mount to compensate exposure when shooting long exposure images, capturing shallow depth of field, or going for a specific bokeh aesthetic.
Once in place, the ND filter can be adjusted using a dial to rotate it from 1. 5 - 7 stops of light. The Kipon EF-S/E AF ND lens adapter retails for US$428 which is relatively inexpensive for a feature-packed mount. More details can be found here.
