Fujifilm, when you really think about it, is one of the photo companies that has weathered one hell of a storm. Along with the likes of Canon, Olympus, Leica and Nikon, they're still a company that is an independent camera manufacturers and wasn't owned by a larger entity of any sort in their evolution.

In terms of the photo world they went from being a major producer of film, to then transitioning into digital (sort of well) and then very well into mirrorless digital. But at the same time, one probably can make a big argument that they're the largest of the big photo companies considering Instax sales. .
