We just wrapped up an action packed two days of photography in Austin, Texas* with the new Sony a6500. After shooting thousands of frames with the new camera, the a6500 is looking seriously impressive.

We'll be publishing an in-depth shooting report soon. Based on our initial use, in most respects the a6500 feels like a slightly refined evolution of the a6300 - but the touchscreen is a huge let down. It's simply not very responsive. More on that soon. For now, we've published a gallery of JPEG sample images and we'll add converted Raw samples as soon as possible.
