Ultra-wide lenses require big, heavy glass. That’s even more true for zooms, which can easily start to approach the weight of a telephoto. But the new Canon RF 14-35mm f4 L weighs just over a pound, yet includes stabilization.
I'm not going to lie; I have a major soft spot for ultra-wide zooms. Ultra-wide zooms force you to look at your surroundings in a completely new way, and you'll have untold amounts of fun doing it.
