It's been a long time since Sony updated the 85mm f1. 4 G Master. But now, we've got the new Sony 85mm f1. 4 GM II. Since then, Sony has made improvements in the way of autofocus speed, clinical clarity, and weather resistance.
The Nikon Zf has finally landed in our hands for long-term testing. It's an incredible camera. And by far, this is the single best feeling camera that we've used all year. In many ways, it's a welcome reprieve from the monotony of the rest of the camera world serving out different variants of the same thing.
The Canon G1x Mk III came at a very unfortunate time for the company. When it was released, Canon was still at the top in sales. But they admittedly cared little to nothing for serious mirrorless cameras and every reviewer fully stated that while they make good cameras, everyone else was still ahead of them.
How, you might ask? How does Tamron make incredibly lightweight lenses yet makes them very durable? If you didn't know any better, some might interpret their plasticky feel as something bad. But for the past few years, that hasn't really been the case.
Sometimes, I'm a bit shocked when brands release their own flashes. But this time around, I finally think that Canon has gotten it right. The new Canon EL-5 speedlight isn't super pricey, and it's doing things that all the other flashes just can't do.
Once upon a time, there was a photographer who drank coffee. Coffee, no matter the brand, was constantly in his car or at his side. He lived for coffee like a Blue Whale lives for plankton. But the coffee made the photographer jittery, so he needed a way to correct this.
