In this patent application (Japan 2023-178037) Canon is describing a tilting EVF for a mirrorless camera. I had the EVF-DC1 for the EOS-M system and loved the tilt function of the EVF. It gave a different perspective and shooting angle and was a useful feature.

I think it's pretty safe to say that Canon has all the ultra wide zoom lenses that they could possibly need, but we also have to keep in mind that once the dust settles and the lens start production, they are hard at work on the Mark II variant of the lens.
There's always the feeling I get when the amount of patent applications start to reach a tempo that perhaps it's a sign that Canon is about to do something. Mind you, Canon has trolled me in the past with this, so anything is possible.
About 3 years ago Canon showed off a prototype of a posture fit device that would recognize when you were slouching and generally having bad posture while sitting at your desk. It would then remind you to correct your posture.
