Having not had the opportunity to shoot images of my family before the Covid-19 pandemic, especially intimate times I decided to start this series. For this series, I wanted to take the time to shoot common and uncommon interactions amongst my family in order to dive deeper into my Cuban heritage.

"Heritage" was inspired by my Cuban heritage to connect with my roots; showing how I and my siblings navigate the world. Through florals, textiles, color, and mirrors I had created images that are loaded with symbolism.
