Panasonic has achieved a stunning world first that will make videographers across the globe stop and take notice. The development of the S1H has been announced, which will be the first full-frame mirrorless camera to offer 6K video.

In fact, Panasonic explained the S1H will shoot 6K/24p (3:2 aspect ratio) or 5. 9K/30p (16:9 aspect ratio) along with the ability to capture, 10-bit 4K/C4K at 60p. Panasonic has already carved out a great reputation with the videographer community since launching the GH5 and GH5S, both of which feature the Micro Four-Thirds mount. Even Panasonic’s smaller cameras, such as the G9, offer good video specs, including 4K capabilities.
The S1H will join the S1/S1R - Panasonic's other full-frame mirrorless cameras in the range.
The new full-frame S1H will use the same L-mount found on the S1 and S1R, Panasonic’s first-ever full-frame cameras, which were launched earlier this year. Panasonic explain that the S1H should be available by autumn and that the S1H will offer a 4:3 Anamorphic mode, along with V-Log/V-Gamut ,which will offer a wide dynamic range of over 14 stops. This should edge the footage captured on the S1H closer to the quality of movies shot on Panasonic's cine cams, such as the EVA1.
Due in Autumn, the S1H will bring serious video quality that was previously only available in cine cams.
What’s more, in every S1H recording mode, video can be recorded non-stop (no 30 minute limits here) and that the camera is being showcased at the Cine Gear Expo 2019 in Los Angeles. At present, no pricing information has been released, but Panasonic did share a video of some sample imagery created with the S1H. . .
