Победитель был выбран из шорт-листа конкурса ZEISS Photography Award 2017. Им стал бельгийский фотограф Kevin Faingnaert. По мнению жюри, этот автор представил потрясающую серию фотографий о жизни в отдаленных и малонаселенных деревнях на Фарерских островах.
