It's been a long time since Sony updated the 85mm f1. 4 G Master. But now, we've got the new Sony 85mm f1. 4 GM II. Since then, Sony has made improvements in the way of autofocus speed, clinical clarity, and weather resistance.
Back in 2019, we reviewed the Sony 35mm f1. 8 FE lens and even gave it an Editor's Choice rating. Don't get us wrong, this is still a great lens for a great price point. But as time went on, we did more investigation into potential issues with the lens.
The Nikon Zf has finally landed in our hands for long-term testing. It's an incredible camera. And by far, this is the single best feeling camera that we've used all year. In many ways, it's a welcome reprieve from the monotony of the rest of the camera world serving out different variants of the same thing.
The Canon G1x Mk III came at a very unfortunate time for the company. When it was released, Canon was still at the top in sales. But they admittedly cared little to nothing for serious mirrorless cameras and every reviewer fully stated that while they make good cameras, everyone else was still ahead of them.
